WE KINDLY ASK YOU TO RESPECT OUR policies

Vaccinations/Flea, Tick & worming

To ensure the safety of your pupS we require all pUPS to be up to date WITH vaccinations, flea, tick & worming treatments when VISITING US. this PROTECTS YOUR BELOVED PUP AND also protects the safety of our STORE/salon and other PUPs VISITING us.

At PƎPē paws, we understand fleas can be a common problem for pups who are social and active outdoors. However, UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES WILL WE ACCEPT PUPS WITH FLEAS. THIS INFECTS OUR STORE/SALON AND OTHER PUPS VISITING us. if you are aware your pup has fleas before your APPOINTMENT, we KINDLY ask you to reschedule and flea & tick treat your pup BEFORE REBOOKING. If we come across any fleas/ticks during YOUR PUPS service, we are required to proceed with a flea/tick rinse to protect our STORE/salon, your PUP AND OTHER PUPS VISITING us. You will be charged AN ADDITIONAL FEE FOR THIS.

PUPPY POLICY

We love providing lifelong grooming services to your PupS! often this begins in puppyhood. We strive to ensure your puppy’s first grooming appointment is stress-free, relaxing and positive. We love introducing puppies into the grooming world and setting them up for life!

We require all pups to be fully vaccinated and up to date on all flea, tick & worming treatments before their first appointment to ensure their safety and safety of other PUPS in our STORE/salon.

ARRIVAL/COLLECTION

WE REQUIRE ALL pups TO BE kept on a leash when visting us for their safety and the safety of other customers/pups IN OUR STORE/SALON.

please ensure to toilet your pups BEFORE THEIR appointment to avoid any messes to minimise the RISK of CONTAMINATION in our store/salon and to keep your pups comfortable throughout their groom.

We pride ourselves on our one-on-one appointment style. This means if you are running late, we do appreciate a courtesy call, however depending on how late you are to your PUPS appointment we may be required to offer a lesser service in the time we have left AS WE RUN BACK-TO-BACK APPOINTMENTS.

Due to our salon SPACE, we have limited room for holding your PUPS for long periods of time after their grooming appointment has been completed. WE ARE NOT A PET SITTING OR DAYCARE SERVICE. WE ASK YOU TO RESPECT OUR TIME AND OUR SALON SPACE BY PICKING UP YOUR PUPS SOON AS THEIR APPOINTMENT IS FINISHED, YOU WILL BE TOLD THE CORRECT TIME for pick up UPON DROP OFF. FOR EVERY 30 MINUTES LATE YOU WILL BE CHARGED AN ADDITIONAL FEE, UNLESS DISCUSSED WITH US PRIOR TO YOUR PUPS APPOINTMENT. THIS ALLOWS OUR APPOINTMENTS TO CONTINUE TO RUN SMOOTHLY AND ALLOWS US TO CATER TO PUPS WHO MAY NOT BE SUITABLE AROUND OTHER PUPS.

NO SHOWS/cancellations

WE ARE HIGH IN DEMAND HERE AT PƎPē paws AND WE WANT TO AVOID OTHER PUPS MISSING OUT!

not showing up to your PUPS appointment without notifying us, will require a 100% payment of the missed appointment to be paid before we are able to rebook youR PUP.

cancelling YOUR PUPS booking within 48 hours requires a 50% PAYMENT OF THE BOOKING TO BE PAID BEFORE WE ARE ABLE TO REBOOK YOUR PUP.

if you wish to change/alter the service of your pups PRE-BOOKED appointment please notify us 48 hours prior. this ensures we have enough time to try and ACCOMMODATE YOU and your pups!

At PƎPē paws we understand life can be unpredictable and things happen. We send out MULTIPLE reminder notifications to alert you of your upcoming bookingS to avoid this happening.

MATTING/KNOTS

What is matting?

Matting happens when your PUPS fur tangles up and causes knots. When left unattended, these knots tighten and clump into a mat. At PƎPē paws, we care most about your PUPS wellbeing and recommend removing any matts/knots and UNFORTUNATELY, we have no choice but to shave under them. This will result in your pup having a much shorter haircut. This can be a risk due to cutting so close to the skin and can result in knicks/cuts during this process AND Depending how tight the matting is, once removed this can result in bruising due to circulation being cut off from the matting being too tight against YOUR PUPS skin which we are not liable for.

Mats require extra time to remove safely SO IT MAY take longer to complete your pups grooming APPOINTMENT. REMOVING MATS ALSO damages OUR EQUIPMENT. you will be charged aN ADDITIONAL matting fee. THIS FEE CAN SIMPLY BE AVOIDED BY BRUSHING YOUR PUPS REGULARLY AND CORRECTLY WHICH WE ARE HAPPY TO SHOW YOU THE CORRECT TECHNIQUES AND HAVE THE CORRECT TOOLS AVAILABLE FOR PURCHASE IN STORE. We CAN’t STRESS enough how much more important wellbeing is over looks.

behaviour/Aggression

We understand the grooming process can be more stressful for some pups than others. this is why we pride ourselves on our ONE-ON-ONE appointment style and our calm and stress-free ENVIRONMENT. we strongly believe in positive reinforcement and handling. we treat every pup like they are our very own. UNFORTUNATELY, sometimes this still doesn't calm some pups. this will require our staff to make the decision whether to continue to proceed with the grooming service or not. We hold the ABSOLUTE right to stop at any MOMENT our staff are UNCOMFORTABLE or at too much risk, aswell as the safety and wellbeing of your beloved pups.

if your pups are a senior or have major health or behavioural ISSUES, we love doing our best to cater for you but unfortunately in some cases grooming is too risky and not RECOMMENDED.

If your pups are aggressive in any way or BITES, we may need to stop the service and this will result in an additional fee on top of your grooming service.

We offer IN STORE COMPLIMENTARY CONSULTATIONS if there are any PARTICULAR needs, REQUIREMENTS or concerns with your pups to see if our salon would be the right fit. if NOT, we are happy to guide you with a few options that may be better suited.

salon services & Surcharges

our grooming prices vary depending on your pups size, coat condition, behaviour, style & time. we recommend regular bookings for your pups to maintain their hygiene and avoid any additional surcharges. we do not accept pups who are on heat, pregnant or are unwell in anyway. this is for the safety of your pups and other pups VISITING us.

as mentioned in previous POLICIES we do have surcharges when it comes to PUPS behaviour, fleas & ticks, matting, no show/cancelations, LATE PICK-UP fee AND our 10% weekend surcharge. Additional fees to your pups grooming service are to our staffs DISCRETION.

SOCIAL MEDIA

We love making your pupS look fresh and cute and adore taking photos of them! We may use this content on our social media pages. If this is something you are uncomfortable WITH, please talk with our staff.

we love seeing the content you share and tag us in on social media and welcome you to do so but we kindly ask you to respect our privacy in the salon and to please do not take photos of our staff without their consent.

RETAIL

here at PƎPē paws WE love stocking only the very best products for your pups! WE proudly support fellow australian small BUSINESSES and we want you to love every item you purchase from us!

We kindly ask you to respect our stock while browsing in store. This is inclusive of any pups or minors under your care while visiting us. UNFORTUNATELY, if any stock is damaged you will be liable to cover the costs.

After purchasing stock from us, we are not responsible for returns after 30 days of purchase. as per the australian consumer law we are happy to exchange/refund items (excluding treats, items purchased via promotions or sale items) within 30 days of purchase if the item is unused with original tags and packaging and in good CONDITION with proof of purchase.

REFUSAL OF SERVICE

PƎPē paws has the right to refuse service in our store/salon.

Some reasons we may choose to do so include repeated late payments/rescheduling/cancellations/no shows. In ADDITION, customers displaying rude, demeaning, disrespectful, harassing, threatening or inappropriate behaviour will not be tolerated. We reserve the right to stop or refuse a grooming service up to our discretion for the wellbeing of your beloved pups and our staff. We hold the absolute right to refuse service to anything we are uncomfortable with in our store/salon.

*As we are working with live animals, they can be unpredictable at times and unexpected accidents may occur in our store/salon. By agreeing to our policies, you also agree that you release Pǝpē Paws, its owners, employees and affiliates from all expenses, damages, liabilities, resulting from any service provided or injury to your pups while in our care/visiting our store/salon. By accepting our policies, you understand and agree to our terms of service*
